WOO Publication / Winter 2014, Spring 2015
Taking it’s name from the mischievous primate companion of Emily Carr, WOO is an experimental magazine which aims to showcase student artwork, criticism and creativity. Through ever-evolving manifestations, WOO has remained committed to creating publications which promote curiosity and reflect the temperature of the student body. The WOO team facilitates connections with established artists, curators, and alumni with the intention of engaging and contributing to the surrounding arts community.

The Winter Issue, 2014
The Winter Issue sought to convey malleability and fluidity of identity through its content and in turn, visualize it through its art direction. Inspired by the forms of marbleized ink, the layout takes on activated arrangement of typography and image. It utilized a custom designed pattern and Pantone 333C treatment throughout the publication.


The Spring Issue, 2015
The Spring Issue sought to reflect the playfulness found within it’s the issues curated content. Inspired by natural floral arrangements, the direction aimed to take after the softspoken elegance of fallen petals. It utilized a custom designed pattern and Pantone 109C treatment throughout the publication.
