World of Chel / Seasons

For NHL21 we introduced a new way for our World of Chel community to compete and achieve the highest levels of skill - WoC Seasons. The new mode allows ours users to climb the online ranks and earn special rewards within the elite CHEL community through 6 seasonal events.

Branding & Graphics
The NHL Design team worked on various touchpoints. This started with the logo & graphics package, extending to environments, vanity clothing, and the interface elements

Environmental Applications

In collaboration with producers and the EA Create team, we developed graphic applications that were embedded in the rink environments in order to drive brand continuity. Five sets of graphic packages were developed, each reflecting the tournament tier.


Arena Banners


Rank Tier Badge System
As part of the UI elements, a badging system was developed and integrated into player hubs and profiles.
